E 'finito!
It's official: as of 11:54 pm on April 24, 2008, I clicked 'submit' on my LAST assignment for the term... and for my degree program. People, by the grace of God, I made it (without needing antidepressants)!!!
Yeeeaaaah! To all of you who prayed for, supported, encouraged and simply tolerated me for the last two years--thank you. It's been some ride! And my triumph is especially dedicated to my beloved Grandma who went to be with the Lord less than a month before I started my degree.
*Granny, I know you had my back from above. I didn't quit--just like you always told me. Luv you, Gran-Gran!*
*sigh* So my next question is, "Now what?!" I mean, I'm all ecstatic to be 'free', but why do I feel like I'm in some sort of cosmic limbo concerning my future? Somehow, the new letters to be appended to my name do not me a librarian make. I still feel that there's SO much more for me to learn before I can truly step into my rightful place as a custodian of knowledge... That just might be due to the fact that I must now seek [i.e. be offered] actual employment in a library. That doesn't even take into account my preference for a medical/health setting. Well, my bond stipulated a 1-year grace period. So I'll just let the grace of God do what it does best--operate and work miracles in ways that I won't even attempt to understand.
Labels: finished, good job, graduation, library school, thanks
